We are proud to be the creative force behind the world’s first prototype of the 3D-printed lashes for OPT Industries, an innovation now in use by TADBeauty and redefining what's possible in the cosmetics industry.
As designers, producers, and creative directors, we led the end-to-end creative strategy to visually and functionally showcase the potential of additive manufacturing in the beauty industry. From curating a whole production team — comprising photographer, videographer, makeup artist, and model — to defining a distinct visual language, our approach seamlessly merged aesthetic storytelling with technological clarity.
We selected a model with heterochromia, an eye coloured in three unique shades, to represent the futuristic, the unconventional, and the beautifully imperfect. This choice embodied our vision of lashes that break away from tradition and invite a new era of expressive design.
On set, we didn’t just shoot; we experimented. We tested lash flexibility, comfort, makeup artist adaptability, weight, and length. We even cut the lash strip into segments to explore modular design options—feedback that directly improved prototyping and helped secure our first client.
