Design and build aims to explore material computation, generative design and large-scale fabrication and assembly processes. The research explores both curved folding and robotic incremental sheet forming (SPIFF) techniques, where small indents on curved folded panels increase structural performance. The installation took only three weeks to construct despite its complex geometry.
